Just got done watching Rush Limbaugh speak at CPAC. The guy is unbelievably good. Why he doesn’t do more political events is beyond me.If you didn’t get a chance to watch it, click here and enjoy. He outlines the conservative movement better than anybody and does it a very entertaining way.
There is no need to go line by line through his speech because it’s all great! Seriously, if you didn’t see it live, make sure you catch a rerun…and live by his words.

"Unbelievably good?" He made a fool of himself. He said the following:
"We believe that the preamble of the Constitution contains an inarguable truth, that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life, liberty, freedom. And the pursuit of happiness."
Now, wait a minute. Here's the preamble to the Constitution:
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
You see anything in there about "life, liberty and freedom?" Neither do I. He was probably thinking of a famous passage in the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
No big deal for some ordinary Joe Schmoe, but pretty embarrassing for a guy who was there specifically to receive an award for being a "Defender of the Constitution." You'd think he might bother to know the difference between the two.
I noticed that too but with your logic, every national leader would be a fool for mispeaking. Obama's 57 states...Bush's bushisms...We could go on and on. And at least Rush doesn't need a teleprompter like "the One".
