I’d like to get a little competition going here on when Bob Vander Plaats officially announces his run for governor again. Maybe he doesn’t even need to announce it since everybody knows it is coming. And what would the world be like without Bob running for governor?I will make you a deal. Whoever gets closest to the date of his announcement gets my blog for a day.

It was 9 am on November 8th 2000.
He has already been telling people that he is definitely running again. For instance I knew that he was running again before the state convention.
He will have an official announcement though. I pick Feb. 16, 2009.
Official run for Gov on January 20th (in hopes all the press will cover his announcement over Obama's inaugural address).
Official announcement that he is stepping down and becoming the Lt Gov nominee on February 1st.

What cycle are we talking? 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022,2024. Because we know the Vander Plaats rule when running for governor, run because you have nothing else to do. Like get a life or real job.
2009 isn't even here yet and I'm already tired of the bvp talk. This guy needs to give it up - who's running against him? Sign me up!

I am a solid social conservative and if BVP actually goes through with this, again, I will work my hardest to ensure he loses. He needs to give his ego a rest.
