When Innovation Fails, Resort to Imitation

My fellow Republicans, we’re being spanked by our opponents and it’s our own fault. This isn’t about the current establishment vs. so cons dust-up which is much ado about nothing. It’s about message, fundraising, and unity.

The disconnect between the Republican State Central Committee, House Majority Fund, Senate Majority Fund, and their respective constituencies illustrates our greatest failure. In good times, these three bodies can exist and function separately. Today, the need for unity could not be greater. And the Democrats get it.

Unless Republicans can prove the present system or an innovation of our own can achieve our shared goal of electing Republicans from the courthouse to the statehouse to Congress and the White House, we need to master the art of imitation.
